HIAWATHA (AP) — GoDaddy.com is looking to add up to 300 workers at a customer service center that opened just outside of Cedar Rapids last year.
The provider of Web hosting and domain name registrations opened an office in Hiawatha with 300 employees last July. The firm says it is hoping to double the number of employees by the end of this year.
Recruiting manager Lisa Sherman says the company is looking for applicants with a wide-range of educational backgrounds and experience to fill available slots, about 95 percent of which are in customer service. She says anyone with a passion for business technology should apply.
The Gazette is reporting the firm held a networking event and cookout Thursday to generate interest in the positions
